If you are new to LIAB, large leaf and ball style teas are a good starting point.
Warm the bowl with hot water and discard.
For an 8 to 10 ounce bowl, add around 3 grams or a good pinch or two of leaf. This is a just a starting point; experiment to find your personal preference for different types of tea.
Add hot water at the recommended temperature. You can fill the bowl from 1/3 to 1/2 full or more.
Let the tea brew for a few minutes. Enjoy the aroma and the warmth of the bowl. Watch the leaves begin to unfurl. Time to start drinking.
Re-steep the leaves. Re-steep the leaves again for a lighter brew.
